A man moves in across the street from a bar populated by men with beards and t-shirts. He meets some guys who then seem to disappear from his life, driving him to the brink of madness. There was much more beneath the surface, but it didn’t really pull together into a coherent whole. Unsatisfying, tepidly recommended.

It’s 1982 and Zachary (not Zac!) has come to San Francisco to be a dancer. He meets a choreographer and things seem to be on the right track, but then purple lesions begin to appear and spread, bringing Zachary’s world crashing inward. Poignant and moving, with a dash of beautiful dancing. Highly recommended.
