Shaun Dunne wrote and produced a play about his own process of disclosing his HIV+ status. Six years later, he interweaves rehearsals for the play with a storytelling workshop and a public presentation for World AIDS Day, talking about the persistent stigma in Irish culture and the corresponding persistence of high rates of HIV transmission. It’s a powerful story, and not just because I love an Irish accent. Definitely a MUST SEE.
