Frameline50 is almost here! The schedule in the printed program guide is cumbersome and in particular doesn’t photocopy well at all, and the schedule in the online program guide is even more cumbersome, especially since it often shows the wrong venue if you are straddling two days, because the same venue may be on different rows on different days. One day, the Castro is first, then the Roxie, the next day, vice-versa.
Anyhow … I made my own (third-party) version of the Frameline50 schedule in PDF format [349K], designed to print on two pages. The venues are in columns, with the columns for the East Bay venues shaded in gray.
I’ve been busy watching screeners of as many films as I can, starting, as usual, with the shorts programs. Those reviews will begin posting here Friday afternoon, June 5, with more added as I get to them.
