Mimmi (pictured, left) and Rönkkö (pictured, reclining) are high school chums who work after school in the smoothie shop at the mall. Emma (pictured, center) is working towards the European championships in figure skating. Their paths cross, with Mimmi starting a romance with Emma while Rönkkö plays the serial hookup game. Mimmi has a lot of anger issues (as shown in a violent outburst at school near the beginning of the film), and fears the intimacy she feels with Emma. It’s a well-made coming-of-age story with three-dimensional characters, highly recommended.
